Help!!! My Photos Won't Upload-and I Don't Know Why

When I try to upload a photo it says it is uploading but it never completes. The only two issues that may help answer the question is I have not tried to upload pics in a while until yesterday and these pics are from a different camera which my boyfriend has said the pixels? not sure of the word are large.
