Why Am I Getting 'invalid Photo'???

I temporarily locked my FB acct because I suspected someone hacked into it.  One of the security steps include uploading a govt issued ID - but when I attempt to do so, it tells me "Invalid Photo".  I have done everything it suggests, its not too big, the dimensions are not oversized, its the correct format, I've saved it to my desktop, I've kept the photo, name and birthday visible...but yet, nothing!  I've attempted this three times with three different pictures taken via digital camera and camera phone.  I don't know how else to access my FB acct.

When you try to log in to your Facebook account you get a message saying Incorrect Email/Password Combination. I assume you have tried to recover your password using reset password feature. If not, click here to give it a try. If this won’t work there are good chances that your account has been hacked.

Follow these steps to recover your hacked Facebook account:

  1. Visit http://www.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=hack_nologin_access
  2. (link updated on September 17th)

  3. Contact email address: enter your email address, if possible the same email you have registered account with
  4. Full name on the account: enter your full name on the account so they will be able to verify application
  5. Network(s) the account belongs to: try provide as many possible networks, including school, work network,…
  6. Email addresses that may be affiliated with the account: enter the same email you have created Facebook account with
  7. Your contact email address: use same email as you entered for step #2
  8. URL (web address link) of the profile page: simply copy/paste URL of your profile
  9. Description and steps to reproduce the issue: describe how your account got hacked/stolen, try to provide as many additional information as possible
  10. Submit “My Account Has Been Compromised” form

You will receive a reply shortly after Facebook staff review your application.
