Why Am I Getting An Error Message When I Try To Open Facebook?

When I type in www.facebook.com or try to open facebook from a search engine I receive this message: Do you want to save this file, or find a program online to open it? Name: help Type: Unknown File type 14.7KB From: Facebook. com. I have no idea how to fix this. I am able to open my page from my cell phone so I do know it is working. HELP PLEASE.

The problem is with your Internet Explorer Add-on settings.
Something may have been recently installed that you did not realize got added to your Add-on's. You can do one of 2 things.

1) Open your web browser, click on Tools --> Manage Add-ons
Within this window you can Disable any recent Add-ons that may have been added.

2) Second option, click on Start button --> All Programs --> Accessories --> System Tools --> internet Explorer (No Add-ons). Once you select it a web browser will open and you should no longer see the problem. Which will tell you that it was a recent Add-on that was casuing the problem.
