'friend' List Deletions

Yesterday I “friended” someone on facebook who I thought I knew but was mistaken so I “unfriended” her. Don’t know if it is related to problem I am having but her name begins with “c” which is list I am now having problem with. So, here is the problem: On my desktop, all is operating as usual..However when I go on fb on my i phone the last contact under “c” deletes from list of friends. if I browse around fb and go to friends list again it deletes another “c” contact. They are still showing up on desktop and if I search them on phone under friends they are still there BUT why all the deletions ??? I have uninstalled fb and reinstalled it twice...I have changed passwords and I have powered down phone as well...still the same...they come back (except the very last one because it disappears just by pressing fb icon) and then one goes each time I press “friends” HELP Please !!
