Well the only way to deactivate it is by being logged in.

So if you have access to your email or cell phone registered with your fb a/c still here is what you can do to get your account back to deactivate it:
1: Go to https://www.facebook.com
2:Click on "forgot password"
3: You are given three (3) choices to help regain your pass code. Through email, cell phone, or typing in your name and a friends name on facebook.
4: After you chosen one of these methods. Click "Search." You will be required to enter a Captcha code, after that it will look for an account matching the email.
5: After that a picture with account name will appear and it will ask if you want to reset your password, or if that user is not your account.
