I Cant Get To My Face Book Using My Email Address

I was on my homepage playing games and walked away for a few minutes when I came back it asked me to login again. when I did that it told me the email address was invalid. I went to start a facebook account useing the same email and password thinking it would bring back my old account, but it did not. It started a new account. I would like to get back to my old account. My email.is Lolly082204 at gmail.com Can youhelp /
