I'm not sure why this question appears in the AARP category but here goes.

Click on Tools
then Toolbars
Next disable the Hypercam toolbar. Depending on your version of Explorer, you might have to click on Tools, then Manage Add-Ons, then Toolbars, then disable the Hypercam one. It may be listed as facesmooch or something similar. I don't think the emoticons will be listed as bandoo but you never know.

Actually - the emoticons/smiley faces/bandoo/facesmooches on Facebook are an application or App which you can remove:
