Permanently Deleting Profile, Wanting To Start Fresh

I have grown increasinigly uncofortable with the mass media news concering Facebook's privacy policy changes.  I deactivated my account as is, but I'd like to go back on and start absolutely fresh under some kind of new name other than my own so I can have total and absolute control over my account.  Meaning, I don't want people searching for me at all and I'd rather not reveal my real name (I only want my close friends to know who I am).  I'd like to use some kind of "code" name (like a username, so to say) only friends I know would identify as me.  Is this at all possible to accomplish?

No, sorry, it is not. Facebook requires that you use your real first and last names. Name changes are permitted under very narrow conditions, laid out here. That page also lays out the procedure for requesting a name change.

You can change your username -- once -- from the Settings tab of the Account page.
