My Mobile Facebook For Android Is Not Showing Prof Pics Or Posted Pics,help Plea

I was notified there was an update for my mobile facebook for android and as usual I processed the update well once complete and going back into facebook I now am not showing any profile pics of friends on the news feed screen or in the friends tab screen why do the updates always come with issues you figure how much they make off of us we would have issues. Please help.
