Message Box

My message box is appearing blank. It happened on Tues. the 27. I tried to send photos via a message. It took a long time to load and would keep freezing. However the person I sent them to did receive them. Also on Tues and Wens. (27th 28th) all of my mail from my Yahoo account also disappeared. There is not even spam for those two days. What happened, how come I can't see my messages, what happened to my mail?
