I Forgot My Fb Password.

when i 1st started my FB account i used my(prepaid) mobile number to log in. i have not added any airtime to my phone in a few months. I forgot my password and i cant get plain text. Everytime i click on "forgot password" it tells me a code will be sent to my phone by plain text(which i cant get). How do i change my password or reset it without going out and spending money on airtime?

Greetings - This does not in any way require you to spent a cent on air time, all you are to do is what I hope you have been doing (which is to have YOUR PRE-PAID NUMBER ACTIVE ON THE NETWORK when you request the code). If the code does not arrive while you have this number you used to register active on the network, theN the problem must lie with the facebook server (in this case you can just keep trying even from a different browser or device). On the other hand you could have this code emailed to you if you did register an email address with facebook (this address must appear as an alternative to where you would have the reset code sent, if it does not then it means an email address was never attached).
