Why Do I Get E-amils From My Facebook Contacts ,everytime They Post A Comment?

Everyone on my friends/family list posts a comment and it goes into my e-mail ? Can this be avoided as it fills my e-mail folder .I should get only ones sent directely for  me ,as a message ,so that i go to facebook to check out the message .

yes, this can be avoided. If you log into your facebook account and click on "account in the upper right hand corner and select "account settings". under setting there is a tab labeled "notifications" click on that and it will bring you to a screen that you can select or unselect preferences for your email; what types of things you will receive. Hope that helped!

To avoid getting email notiications for each comment you have to edit Account settings.

 

Here it goes:

 

In your Facebook profile, click on "Accounts>>Account Settings>>Notifications"

 

There you will find many check boxes selected under "Photos"

 

deselect "Comments on your photos".

 

Similarly you can remove what ever you don't want to be notified through E-mail.

 

Done!!!
