Closed Account Sending Out Unwanted Messages

I closed an account of facebook 3 years or so ago. I have been informed by friends that stil have facebook that the are getting e-mail, spam and advertisments from my old facebook account. I have called and e-mailed facebook with no response. Please stop this. Thank you
