How Do I Close Out My Facebook Account, But Save My Profile Pagetimeline,picture

Is it possible to save my profile page somehow and at the same time, close that facebook account and open a new one under a different name? I want to close the account, but I don't want to lose the information on my time line and the chronology of my life.

You can copy your old profile content (photos, notes, etc.) and add it manually to your new account. Unfortunately, there will be some things you cannot transfer, such as friends and Wall posts. Once you have moved all information onto a single account, you may deactivate your old account from the Settings tab of the Account page. Afterward, you can add email addresses and networks to your new account from the Account page.
