To remove a photo from Facebook:

Go to the photo and select the Options menu from menu bar beneath the photo.
Click Delete This Photo.

If you are talking about Photo in the column of "Photo of You".

You cannot delete that photo as it is tagged, request your friend.

You can click on open the photo and above the photo click on "HIDE FROM TIMELINE".
