I Have Been Trying For 2 Days To Reach A Live Person.

I need immediate help to remove 2 disputes from my credit report or else Hometrust Mortgage will not process my loan. Closing is set for 8/3/10.

There are two ways to file a dispute. The first one being sending in a letter to Experian which will definitely take more time than you have right now. The second and most viable option for you would to file a disput online at experian.com.

Log into your account at experian.com, and view your credit report. Locate the items that you are wanting to dispute and view the details. You should see a blue "Dispute this item" button. Follow the instructions from there.

If you have a paper copy and are not looking at your report online, you can still file a report online by going to: https://www.experian.com/consumer/cac/InvalidateSession.do?code=DISPUTE

You must have your Experian credit report number to request a dispute.

The normal processing time for disputes are 30 days, but you can often times get an answer before that. You cannot file for a dispute over the phone.
