No Suction When In Floor Mode

My vacuum has no suction when dial is placed on "floors" mode, but the wand suction is fine when dial is placed on "tools" mode.

Eureka Whirlwind Rewind 4242a. In Using Attachments There Is No Suction.
Now sometime no suction using Vacuum. Dirt comes out of bottomOf vacuum. Why?
