How Can I Find Out If I Placed A Freeze On My Credit?

Earlier this year, I called to place a freeze on my credit. The person I spoke with suggested I do something different that would be less drastic. At the time I was sure I was not going to be applying for any loans for a very long time. I cannot remember if I followed through and asked for the freeze or not. How can I find out?

You can contact Equifax at 1-800-203-7843 to see if there is a freeze on your account through them.
