Hi Luxurkajun, I am happy to assist you!

Typically error code ER01 indicates that a water leak has been detected under the tub. Your dishwasher may possibly need a hydraulic kit. Try unplugging your dishwasher or flipping the household circuit breaker off first. Wait approximately ten minutes and turn your appliance on. If the error code continues to display, then I recommend contacting a professional to make a precise diagnosis.

We have hard water in our area so mineral deposits clog the filter and internal parts after a year causing the ERROR 01 message. You do NOT have to remove the bottom water basin. Instead get a 4 foot length of 1/4 inch tubing (fuel line at a hobby shop or air line at a pet store) and remove the inside Glass Trap Filter to insert the tubing into the bottom basin and siphon the water out. Unplug the dishwasher and leave the door open overnight. In the morning when you plug it in you will get the WELCOME display. Then you must run a commerical cleaning solution (we use Finish) to remove the mineral buildup. We have to do the same thing with our Kerug coffee maker. Set an annual alarm on your smart phone to remind you to do this once a year.
