Why Does An Error Keep Popping Up On The Touch Screen Panel?
I have an electrolux fridge model #ew28bs71i and an error code 5Y EF keeps popping up and I have no idea how to fix it. It is messing with the temperatures as well and no where in the manual does it say what that even means. Does anyone know?

Hello sarajoo – Generally, error code SY & EF means that the refrigerator has detected an evaporator fan circuit failure. Try resetting the refrigerator by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and turn the unit back on. If issue persists, a further diagnoses is recommended to have a professional check the wiring between the main control board and evaporator fan since either part could need replacing.
