Id For Internal Uk Flight

My husbands passport ran out just over 2 years ago. He may need to fly for a funeral in Scotland in the very near future. easy jet call centre told me that they would accept a passport up to 5 years out of date ( but bring along some other photo id e.g. Work ID card). I asked for email confirmation of this which I was told would be sent but I have not received this. Could you please email me confirmation that he can use his passport for a uk internal flight. Thank you.

Yes you can use at as an ID for dometic flights. You should not have a problem as long as it is within 5 years if your airline says so.
