My Dc23 Wont Start

Hello, this vacuum has a thermal cutoff protection built in. If the vacuum overheats, it will completely shut off. In order to use it again, let it cool down and check the vacuum for any blockages, then remove them. For help finding blockages, see page 7 of the user manual, under the heading "Looking for Blockages."
