Dc18 Brush Not Working

hi i have a dc18, the brush isn't working, i've reset it and still nothing, is this brush driven by a belt the same as other dysons? i changed the belt on my old dyson but can't see one on this model?

The brushbar has a connector block inside. When I go to fix things sometimes this part becomes loose, as I'm not concentrating too much on that one at that moment. Secure the connection and screw plate back on with the connector block secured.

If it's definitely NOT a power issue, use your warranty or purchase a new motorhead for $130.00.
