Does This Mouse (dynex Dx-wom2) Use A Battery? It Is Acting Up.
I tried to open it but it only opens 1/8" and I don't want to break it.

No it does not use a battery. It sounds like you might have dirt blocking the laser lens. Try cleaning it by following the instructions here.
