I had the same question. So i went back to best buy where I bought my Sony NWZ-E385 MP3 Player and the sales guy told me I could use the Dynex DX-ipac2 charger with the Sony. He said just check it every now and then while it's charging to make sure it's not getting to warm. I did that and it worked great. It fully charged the Sony NWZ-E385 with absolutely no problems. Help Owl told me I could not do this but that was not true.
