You could afford a BMW working at Dollar Tree? Im in the wrong line of work. I dont think anybody can give any advice considering you can pay for a beamer on a minimum wage pay scale.

There is one tidbit of advice I'll share with you. This is not http://www.dollortree.com its http://www.helpowl.com and Joe would probably prefer it if something as personal as this was emailed to him instead of posted in a publuc forum. Good luck getting your job back. I'm rooting for ya.

If you agree that the answer I provided is correct please remember to "accept" and/or mark it as "helpful" so I know I'm doing a good job. Thank you, I would really appreciate it.

The thing about whistleblowers is that while they are appreciated by the masses in most cases they are not appreciated by their coworkers.  Let the manager know you still want your job and such and that what was happening before went against your proffessional moral code and see if you can come to some sort of understaning.

Since you didn't have much power in the store and blew the whistle I would go to the higher ups and not your store manger but the district manager instead if you want your job or a transfer. If yoou were the mangaer then I suggest that you lay down the law with your employees.

While you may be friends with them outside of work they much respect you in the workplace and friend or not if they cant do that then they need to think about getting another job. Next time you hire a friend or work with them remember to let them know that during working hours they are your coworkers first and your friend second.

It may sound harsh but they should respect you and their work place enough to not take it personally and if they can't do that then it might get messy.

Good luck!
