Why Wont My Power Locks Work? But My Alarm Works.

My power locks do not work with the remote or with the button on the driver or passenger side.  there is no sound coming from any of the doors and all the locks are not working not just one.  I just got the SUV and that is the way I got it so I can't say if any event lead to it not working.  I thought it was a fuse issue because I don't see all the actuators going at the same time and the remote also doesn't work. I figured if the master switch was the problem then the remote would still work but i may be wrong in that assumption.  If anyone has had this problem or could even tell me some possible solutions that would be great.
