2002 Neon Transmission
Hi there,
I have owned my vehicle for more than five years now. Recently (this summer) as my car heats up the clutch refuses to shift gears. When it heats up it is almost as if there is no clutch at all, I can power shift, shifting without the use of clutch. In the morning and after 8:00 PM at night, when the temperature is lower, the clutch shifts gears like it is suppose to.
Is it the viscosity of the clutch fluid that is overheating and causing the shifting problem? Should I have the clutch fluid drained and changed? Please let me know... :o)) Tom T.
