Hello! I would be happy to assist you with this remote issue. It sounds like you're remote needs to be readdressed to your receiver. Please follow the steps below in order to readdress the remote. If this remote is for TV2 please take it to the TV1 location and follow these steps. If this remote controls TV1 you can stay at the receiver location.

1. Press the system info button on the front of the receiver to bring up the system info screen.

2. Press and hold down the SAT button until all the buttons at the top are lit.

3. Enter and number 1-15 on the remote keypad.

4. Press the pound(#) button once.

5. Press the record button 3 times.

6. Select done with the TV1 remote to save this and then test the remote functions.
