My name is Kimberly and I form part of the Social Media Department with DISH. It is a pleasure to help you. If your remote is currently not allowing you to access your guide and change channels please make sure that your remote is on the correct mode which is, Satellite Mode. How do you know if the remote is on SAT mode? You can find out by pressing any button on the remote and pay attention to the four mode buttons located at the top pf the remote and check to see if the SAT clear button is the one that lights up. If your remote is on SAT mode but is still not changing channels it will most likely need to be readdressed to the receiver. Follow this link for detailed information on how to address your remote to the receiver http://www.mydish.com/support/remote-control?WT.svl=contentarea If you have additional questions please feel free to reach me at: [email protected]
