I Have Dish Receiver When I Dont Change The Channel Its Shuts Off

I would be happy to assist you with this. It sounds like your inactivity standby is activated. There is a way to change the time frame for this or disable it. I will provide you with both ways for different types of receivers. If this does not resolve the issue please send me an email at [email protected] so that I can further assist you.

Hopper receiver - Select menu, settings, diagnostics and updates. Once you're on the updates screen you can select more hours for inactivity or you can disable this feature. Once you have changed the settings please select save.

Other receivers - Please press menu, 8(preferences) and 4(updates). Once you're on the updates screen you can select more hours for inactivity or you can disable this feature. Once you have changed the settings please select save.
