Hi, the answer to your question does depend on how the VCR is attached to the TV. Most installs will require you to put the TV itself on channel 3 or 4 and turn the VCR on and it should display the picture on the TV. If this does not work, please email me and let me know which cable you are using to connect the Tv and VCR and I will assist you further. Thank you!
