Where Is My Recording?

one of my recordings on dish tv dvr is no longer on my recording list. Why?

There are a few possibilities for why a recording is no longer appearing. If it was a recorded movie, like from HBO or PPV, it may have had a time limit. Once that time limit expires, the event will be automatically deleted.

Another possibility is based on the DVR's recording space. Once the DVR gets full, it will automatically delete older recordings to make room for new ones. This can be stopped by protecting the events you wish to keep. If you have an HD DVR receiver, you can also use an External Hard Drive to backup and store recordings.
