Hi. I'm Phillip Chang with DISH Network. Sorry to hear that you lost the signal, lets get that fixed right away. The first thing we want to do is make sure there is nothing obstructing the dish, i.e tree branches, severe rain, snow build up. After that we could try un-plugging the receiver for about 10 seconds then plugging it back in (the receiver will power on by itself). If the signal is still not back yet we want to make sure that all the connections between the DISH receiver and the wall are secure. Once we have made sure we have a secure connection do a "Check Switch" test; go to the main menu then press the numbers 6 then 1 then 1 again, this should take you to the "Point Dish" screen,once there select "Check Switch" on the right side of screen, then "Test" on the bottom of the next screen. This test normally finishes within 5 mins.

These steps should fix most signal loss problems you will every have. Please let me know is you would like any additional information.
