i have spanish shows and want to hear engish words or english sub titles

For subtitles; you can definitely look on your TV's main settings to see if available. Some of our receivers have the option in the Preferences section of the menu.

Another option to try is changing the Alternate Audio. You can find this in Menu -> Preferences (8) -> Alternate Audio (3), or depending on your receiver it may be under Menu -> System Setup (6) -> Alternate Audio (2)
