Dish Network Remote For Tv2 Not Working

Hi, i had to change my tv2 and now my dish network remote wont work. I have the tv on the correct channel (60) and i am getting the message your reciver is currently off, press select to watch tv but when i do this nothing happens. I dont know what i need to do now. Please help thank you

Hello jankuder0505, Sorry to see you are having an issue. Here are steps that should help resolve this. You may also visit dish.com on the link I am providing for tips.

To reprogram the remote to the receiver:

Take TV2 remote to TV1 location
Press menu twice on TV1 remote
On TV2 remote, press the "SAT" button one time
On TV2 remote, press record 3 times

This readdresses the remote to the receiver.
