Intermittant Operation

My DWF83PL only fires about half the time. I press the points hard to the work and it may or may not shoot a nail. I'm at 120 psi and using the correct Dewalt nails.Ideas? Don

Possible causes:
  • Tool not receiving air
  • Valve may be frozen
  • Damaged or worn o-rings
  • Broken or damaged driver blade
  • Lack of lubrication
  • Nosepiece screws loose
  • Wrong size/angle fasteners
  • Dirty magazine
  • Damaged/Worn magazine
  • Trigger valve o-ring worn or damaged
