Can The Direction Of The Motor Be Reversed

Not according to the manuel and the product details on amazon.com, a reciprocating saw really doesnt need a reverse action as the blade just goes up and down. At least none of my sawzalls ever did and i cant imagine how that would help if you got the blade in a bind really. Pull out and start again. Thats safest.
