If your DW716 miter saw keeps tripping the breaker, there are a few things that you can try to resolve the issue:
  1. Check the circuit breaker: If the circuit breaker is not designed to handle the power needs of the saw, it will trip frequently. Check the breaker rating to make sure it matches the saw's power requirements.
  2. Check the power cord: Ensure that the power cord is in good condition and not damaged. A damaged power cord can cause the breaker to trip.
  3. Check for overload: Make sure that you are not overloading the saw. The saw is designed to handle specific cutting requirements, and if you exceed those requirements, it will trip the breaker. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for proper use.
  4. Check the blade: A dull or damaged blade can cause the saw to overload and trip the breaker. Make sure that the blade is sharp and in good condition.
  5. Check for loose connections: Check all the electrical connections and make sure they are tight. Loose connections can cause power surges and trip the breaker.
  6. Check the motor: If none of the above solutions work, the motor may be the problem. A faulty motor can cause the saw to draw too much power and trip the breaker. It may be necessary to have the motor repaired or replaced.

If you are unable to resolve the issue, it is best to contact a professional to diagnose and repair the problem.
