How Do I Get More Sound To My Two Back Speakers?

1. Using the Multi Channel Surround option. This distributes the sound among your 5 speakers, then you can us the DB adjustment between -12 and +12 to adjust to your liking. Not true 5.1 but gets the sound you want.
2. On Dobly Digital, I have same problem, where rear only shows up with stray bullets, or arrows flying and other sound effects. I make sure my subwoofer is set to multi if I want to generate more rear volume. I also adjust the Db equal to my Center speaker to get more volume. Remember the rear speakers are not set as primaries, your front and center are. A typical Pro or DD setting might be:
Subwoofer 3 to 5 Db (Precision 10")
Fronts 5.0 Db to 7.5 (Bose)
Center 7.5 to 10 Db (Klipsch)
Rears 7.5 to 10 Db (Pioneer)
I like to use the opening battle scene from Gladiator to set my system, then adjust accordingly. I find TV shows horrible for low Db [except the ads of course] and need adjusting to suit.
