Forgot Bios Password

I set a password for my bios on my dell xps m140 laptop. How can i recover my password or rest bios

You will need to call Dell Support at 1-866-203-6875 and have them generate a bios reset password for you. They will verify ownership of the system and if everything checks out they will provide the reset password.

You have to remove the cmos battery from the mother board and this will reset the motherboard bios.
