How To Deactive The Touchpad
please tell me how to permanent deactivate the touchpad, using a wireless mouse

To deactivate the touchpad of your Dell Latitude E5420 laptop, please follow the required steps below.
1. Click Start/Windows logo
2. Click the Control Panel
3. Click Hardware and Sound
4. Click the Mouse link
5. From the mouse dialog box, click the tab for the application of the touchpad
6. Disable here the touchpad settings
