Keyboard Wont Come Off.

I am trying to remove the keyboard off my dell inspiron 5050. i have pushed the tabs in and am gently trying to get the keyboard off as the manuall and dells site says to but it absolutely wont come off.The thinner layer of plastic inbeteen the keys starts to come up but not the actuall keyboard. any tricks?

Please  switch off the Laptop and remove the battery first and follow the steps as per attachment
