Laptop Beeping At Me

my dell inspiron n5050 laptop beeps at me 5 times, but starts up, then it continues to beep as i am working.  any ideas why

Hi, 

This happens because the Real Time Clock (RTC) power failed. The CMOS battery of the computer has gone bad and need to be replaced.

Hi, 

Five beeps means that the Real Time Clock (RTC) power has failed.Replacing the CMOS battery should fix the issue.
