Hi,

My name is Hitesh I work for the Social Media and Community Team at Dell. It seems to be a no post issue.

We can follow the following steps to resolve this issue.

First we need to know if we are getting the dell logo or not.

Steps to follow

1 > turn off the computer

2> restart and start tapping at F2 key

3> system will take you to system bios leave the system on for 5 min and check if the computer

Turns off: If yes call dell tech support and get the Motherboard replaced. From dell technical support. Call 1800-624-9896

If no: the issue is with the operating system

4> if yes: updated the latest version of system bios.

5> log on to the support.dell.com

6> click on home users

7> click on drivers and downloads

8> put the service tag of the computer

9> check for the operating system it should be the same one on the system

                To check the Operating system

                                a> go to start menu

b> right click on computer (in windows 7)

c> go to properties (will show win 7 64 or 32 bit operating system)

10> Download the latest version of Bios.

NOTE: charger should be plugged in while updating.

11> if still the same please follow the link : http://dell.to/fwGlC0

12> hope this is helpful information good luck.

Regards
