It seems to be an issue with erratic pointer movement. I would recommend a few steps which may fix the issue:
If you are using a windows 7 system, you may first uninstall the touch pad driver by following these simple steps:
-- Click Start.
-- Click Control Panel.
-- Open Device Manager.
-- Uninstall the touchpad drivers.
-- Restart the computer
To install the touch pad driver click on the link mentioned below:
http://dell.to/XULgT1
-- Enter the Service Tag and choose the operating system.
-- Download and install the drivers for touchpad which will be under “Input “.
-- Restart the computer. Please check if the issue is resolved now.
You may refer to the link given below for some additional steps:
You can also refer the Dell Article 277550 on our Dell support page.
If you are facing any issue, please let me know the system model and the Operating system installed on your computer so that I can help you in a better manner.
Thanks & Regards
