hello sir !
that sound isnt meant to be aboided. it is made fo r a notificationl use in large industries. but it is mentioned in your user manual how to turn off that sound under the section hardware settings.

It is there as a an alert WHEN there is a problem, you can go to setupmenu to Admin settings then down to Alert Tones and scroll thru until you find the option for the alerts and shut them off with the exception of the ones for low toner and errors. You have to select them one at a time but it will save your sanity once it is complete! Happy Printing
