Why Can't I Get A Refund For A Reservation I Canceled?
I made a reservation at the Day's Inn, East Beaches in Toronto using their reservation system instead of a service such as Bookit, or Priceline. Mainly to save time. My event in Canada got canceled and Day's Inn is telling me I can't get a refund. If I made the reservation using Price Line, I would get a refund. My reservation number was and I made the reservation in advance because 1) this is the only hotel anywhere near my event, 2) the hotel is small, and 3) the hotel is very popular being near Lake Ontario. I have no doubt they have already filled the room I canceled. Many thanks,Glenn Bowman in Michigan
