Cuisinart Maker Not Freezing

I used my Cuisinart maker, double maker for the first time and the ice cream would not freeze. How do you get it to freeze properly ? Thanks

Freezing has to do with your ingredients, put mixture in stainless steel bowl and put in freezer for about 30 mins to an hour so you can tell if the mixture starts to thicken up.
