Filter Basket Hinge Reassembly.

The DTC-925 fell and the filter basket came off. We put it back together and it seems to work fine. But... there is a small black plastic part left over that appears to be part of the hinge mechanism. We can't figure out how it fits or why it is needed. There does not appear to be any part breakage.
